Have a question about registration, obtaining a visa/passport, or conference activities? We can help! Below we have answered some of the most frequently asked questions about attending NAT 2024.

How do I register to attend NAT?

Both attendees and exhibitors are able to register online here.

For additional questions, please contact UCA Customer Service at 303-948-4200 or via email at cs@smenet.org or meetings@smenet.org. To receive the lowest registration rates, UCA must receive your registration form and full payment by May 13, 2024. Regular registration rates apply beginning May 14 through June 16. After June 16, on-site registration fees apply.

How can I get a copy of an invoice or receipt?
To download a copy of your registration receipt, please visit www.smenet.org, login to your SME account using your email and password, visit My Profile and view My Meetings. Click on View Registration to obtain a copy of your receipt. You may also contact SME Meetings at meetings@smenet.org or SME Customer Service at 303-948-4200 or cs@smenet.org with receipt/invoice inquiries.
If I pre-register, when do I receive my badge and conference materials?
All badges and conference related materials will be distributed onsite at the NAT registration desk located at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.
What does my full conference registration include?
The full conference registration fee includes a copy of the conference proceedings, participation in all technical sessions, access to the exhibit hall and exhibit hall social functions including the exhibit hall receptions and the exhibit hall luncheons.
Are short courses included in the registration fee?
Short courses require an additional fee to attend.
What are the exhibit hall hours?

The exhibit hall is open on Monday, June 24 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 25 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 26 from 9:00 am to Noon.

When does onsite registration for attendees open?

Onsite registration will open on Sunday, June 23 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Is there a one-day registration option for NAT 2024?
One-day registration is not available for NAT.
How do I change my address or other contact information?
To edit your contact information, please visit www.smenet.org, login to your SME account using your email and password, visit My Profile and view My Contact Information. Click on Edit button next to either your address or phone number to edit your contact information. You may also contact SME Meetings at meetings@smenet.org or SME Customer Service at 303-948-4200 or cs@smenet.org with questions about updating your contact information.
What is the refund and cancellation policy for conference registration?

If circumstances require you to cancel your NAT 2024 registration, you must do so in writing. Written notice must be sent to: UCA Conference Registration, 12999 E. Adam Aircraft Circle, Englewood, CO 80112 or via email at cs@smenet.org or meetings@smenet.org. Cancellations received by May 20, 2024 will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for no-shows and cancellations postmarked after May 20, 2024. Registrants are responsible for cancellation of their own hotel accommodations. Substitutions will be accepted in writing at no charge until May 20, 2024. After May 20, a $25 fee will be charged for substitutions. NO REFUNDS for Registration, Social Functions and Short Courses will be issued after May 20, 2024.

Why should I stay at the official conference hotel?

UCA has negotiated discounted rates especially for our conference attendees and exhibiting partners. Staying within our designated hotel room block allows us to keep your registration costs low and continue to negotiate competitive room rates for all conference participants.

The NAT Conference official hotel is the Gaylord Opryland Resort, offering a special discounted hotel room rate of $264/night (plus taxes, fees and a mandatory per night resort fee of $28) for the duration of the conference. The mandatory resort fee includes:

  • Hotel-wide wireless high speed Internet access.
  • Unlimited local and long distance calls.
  • Daily shuttle service to Opry Mills & The Inn at Opryland.
  • Shuttle transportation to scheduled Grand Ole Opry and General Jackson Showboat performances.
  • Bottled water (2 daily) replenished once daily with housekeeping service.
  • Daily credit of up to $10 per room towards dry cleaning (credit is not cumulative through stay).
  • Transportation to Gaylord Springs Golf Links, practice range access and daily bucket of balls (rental club provided; appropriate attire required).
  • In-Room features include a safe, refrigerator, and dry cleaning (charges apply). For your convenience, the in-room TV has connectivity to Netflix and Hulu, which can be accessed via your personal accounts.

How do I reserve housing for the 2024 NAT Conference

May I bring a guest to meals and social functions?

All guests need to be registered and must wear an official badge to functions. Spouse/companion registration includes access to networking functions including:

  • Monday night Exhibit Hall Opening Reception
  • Lunch in Exhibit Hall on Tuesday
  • Tuesday night Exhibit Hall Reception         

The spouse/companion registration is intended for those not employed in the industry and does not include admission to technical sessions. SME reserves the right to cancel, without notice, a guest registration suspected to be used for a professional, an exhibitor and/or a sponsor.

How will PDHs be awarded?

UCA does not provide PDH for NAT. UCA is not accredited to do so and we are not able to track attendees time in concurrent sessions for accurate credit.

Please check with your state board for what they will accept as credit hours. Many will allow you to claim PDH with appropriate backup documentation.

Will presentations from the conference be available to attendees?

UCA provides all NAT peer-reviewed manuscripts in print or digital form (Proceedings) to attendees. We do NOT collect presentations. If you are interested in the presentation, please contact the speaker directly.
