Registration Policy


Registration Terms & Conditions

Prior to your registration, you must acknowledge and accept the UCA Registration Terms & Conditions. Should you not wish to accept the Terms & Conditions you should not register.

Submission of a registration is regarded as affirmation of your acceptance of the Event Terms & Conditions.

Registration Category

Member Discount Rates

Individuals must be members in good standing at the time of registration in order to qualify for discounted member rates. All attendees, exhibitors and authors are required to register. Nonmember authors/chairs may register at the member rate using the discount code provided.

The appropriate badge is required for admittance to the technical sessions and exhibit hall functions and will be checked at the entrance of all activities. Exhibits-only registrations are NOT permitted to attend the technical sessions. One-day or Exhibit Hall-only passes are not available.

Nonmember full conference registrations include a complimentary pro-rated UCA membership that will remain active until December 31, 2024.

Discounted nonmember registrations that include, but are not limited to, Discounted Author Rates, Complimentary Exhibitor Registrations and Complimentary Sponsor Registrations do not include complimentary memberships.


Student registration for NAT2024 must meet eligibility requirements. UCA requires that an individual must be attending a college/university/higher education institute on a full-time basis to qualify for student registration.
Student registrations may be required to provide evidence of full-time status. Students enrolled in 12 or more semester credit hours are considered full-time. Acceptable confirmation includes: transcript, most recent report card, or official school registration documents. Student registrations without this documentation will not be eligible for the reduced student rate.

Discounted Registration Rates

Registrations received on or before May 13, 2024, qualify for the Early-bird discount rates. Regular registration rates apply between May 14 and June 16, 2024. Onsite rates apply after June 16. Registrations are not considered complete and confirmed until full payment is received.

Additional Options & Events

Pre-conference short courses and ticketed networking events are additional options for attendees and are not included in a regular conference registration. Registrants can purchase ticketed functions within the registration process and can only be purchased in conjunction with a full conference registration.

One-day registrations or Exhibit Hall Only access registrations are not available for NAT2024.

Guest Registration

A spouse/companion registration includes access to the exhibit hall and social functions, (1) drink ticket for Monday night Exhibit Hall Reception; (1) lunch in Exhibit Hall on Tuesday; and (1) drink ticket for Tuesday night Exhibit Hall Reception. It does not include access to technical sessions or paid event tickets, short courses, tours, etc.

All guests need to be registered and must wear an official badge to functions. Purchase of additional tickets may be required if applicable. The spouse/guest registration is intended for those not employed in the industry and does not include admission to technical sessions. UCA reserves the right to cancel, without notice, a spouse/companion registration suspected to be for a professional an exhibitor and/or sponsor.

Cancellation Policy

If circumstances require you to cancel your NAT2024 registration, you must do so in writing. Written notice must be sent via email to Cancellations received on or before May 20, 2024, will receive a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. There are no refunds for no-shows and cancellations received after May 20, 2024. Substitutions will be accepted in writing at no charge until May 20, 2024. After May 20, a $25 fee will be charged for substitutions.

Registrants are responsible for cancellation of their own hotel accommodations.

Attendee Conduct

UCA is committed to creating a professional and respectful conference experience for attendees, exhibitors, suppliers, contractors, sponsors, and event staff. Individuals should immediately report any behavior inconsistent with these principles to onsite event staff. You may also contact UCA directly to report a concern at We will look into and review every allegation of inappropriate conduct and respond appropriately. We value your attendance.

Privacy Policy and Personal Data

Registrants who opt-in during the registration process agree to share their provided contact details including name, company name, title, mailing address and email with exhibiting companies and sponsors and exhibitors of NAT2024.

NAT2024 event sponsors and exhibitors may directly request your personal information at their exhibit booths or presentations. Providing your information to them is optional, and you should review their privacy policies to address your particular needs and concerns about how they will treat your personal information.

Photograph and Video Use Permission

Attendees acknowledge and grant the right, in perpetuity, to UCA and their contracted agents, to take photographs and video of me and my property, with or without naming and without compensation, in connection with attending NAT2024 and hereby authorize UCA and their contracted agents to copyright, use and publish any and all photographs and video taken at same in print and/or electronically for any lawful purpose, including publicity, illustrations, advertising, marketing and internet content all related to promoting UCA, NAT2024 and their educational activities.

Attendees agree to not capture audio or visual recordings of NAT2024 elements (including sessions, social functions, etc.) in any medium and to not distribute audio or visual recordings of NAT2024 (via social media or any other means) without the express permission of the subject, speaker, author, SME or UCA representative.

Attendees also agree to not take or distribute pictures of or copy research posters/presentation materials unless explicit permission is granted.

Permission must be granted by SME or UCA and press credentials issued for any entity that desires to film, interview or capture attendees within all areas of NAT2024. Non-credentialed press, photographers and associated crew are subject to specific limitations for the time and placement of filming locations. Violations of these specifications may result in removal from NAT2024.

Distribution of Materials

UCA and NAT2024 retain the right to approve all materials distributed and displayed outside of exhibit hall booths. Any non-approved materials distributed will be immediately removed and disposed of.

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability

Attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or expense, of any kind, that attendee may
experience or incur in connection with attending the event. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges and holds harmless SME, UCA and NAT2024, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending the event, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability and death. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the event may result from the actions, omissions or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of SME, UCA and NAT2024, its employees, agents and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after participation in the event.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

UCA reserves the right to change, amend, add or remove any of the above Terms & Conditions in its sole discretion and without prior notice. If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions should become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply. These Terms & Conditions apply to all event participants (attendees, authors, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors).
